Why diets don’t work:

Are you fed up with going on diets, losing weight and then ballooning back again? Are you finding exercise an effort. Are you getting stiff joints? Are you overweight and finding it difficult to get it off? How many ‘slimmers of the year’ actually stay slim? You were promised weight loss by the plan you went on, but did they promise it would stay off – I don’t think so. The ugly truth is that the diet industry is just that – an industry. To keep profits up, it needs continuous income from customers like you – millions of them. It needs you to keep buying its products and it’s insatiable. The truth is, the diet industry needs to keep you fat most of the time, so it can get fat all the time.

Let me hasten to add that I absolutely do not subscribe to the idea that everyone should be slim just because it’s fashionable. You have your own idea of how you want to look and how you feel comfortable. My concern is the health issue. I want to make sure you live life to the full and don’t have it cut short by any of the diseases connected with obesity.

I’ll be telling you what really works. I’ll be telling you some surprising stuff that you may not have heard before, and what the diet industry would rather you didn’t know:

  • Why we’re still in the stone age.
  • Why calorie control doesn’t work.
  • Why snacking is good for you.
  • Why saturated fats are good for you.
  • Why you should eat butter and avoid margarine.
  • Why you should avoid one of the most popular ‘health’ foods like the plague.
  • Why ‘diet’ foods can actually make you fat – and ill.
  • The drug pushers on every high street - how they get you hooked and addicted.
  • How to avoid being a victim.
  • How to fool your body into thinking it’s springtime – the best time to lose weight.
  • And how losing weight is not about what you eat.

And I’ll be backing all this with solid evidence and research.

This is a diet such as you’ve never seen before. You’ve been told a lot of lies by people who only want to line their own pockets. These people don’t want you to be slim and healthy because it’s bad for business if you don’t buy their pills, surgical procedures, diet food, drinks and so on. Many of the ideas I’m proposing go right against accepted current thought, but all are backed by solid scientific research, much of which has been suppressed by powerful lobbies in the food and drugs industries. I don’t expect to make many friends in those industries when I start to expose how they cynically disregard your health and welfare in favour of their profits.

I will be encouraging you to ditch junk food and get back to eating natural wholesome foods. When I look around my local supermarket I find that 90% of the shelf space is taken by processed foods, cleaning and beauty products and only 10% to basic raw meat, vegetables and fruit. These new products simply didn't exist a few years ago. Our bodies have not had time to adapt to the new artificial additives and chemicals with which these processed foods are laced. Did you know that the sweet taste of sugar and artificial sweeteners is more addictive than cocaine? I will not be surprised to learn that other tastes are just as addictive - it's part of our make-up. Our ancestors learned to seek out sweet foods for high energy, high flavour foods for nutrition and salty foods because salt was scarce. All these tastes give us pleasurable feelings, so guess what the processed food manufacturers do? They load their 'foods' with those flavours and take out the nutritional value, so we are left seeking the nutrition and eating more of their junk in an attempt to find it.

We are literally addicted to the flavours in junk food and the manufacturers are merciless in exploiting our weakness.

There is no quick fix:

How long did it take for you to reach your current weight? For most people it was years of gradual accumulation. Is it reasonable to expect to get rid of it in a matter of weeks? That kind of crash-dieting is really bad for you and can never give you a permanent solution. The Cave Man Diet is not a magic bullet – if that’s what you’re looking for, then go somewhere else (but you’ll be back, because there is no such thing). I don’t want to fool you with false promises. The Cave Man Diet works – it takes effort and commitment to begin with and it’s not just a diet, it’s a different way of living. But it’s worth it – you’re worth it. Once you are free of those addictions and can keep your body fit and well, you will experience freedom like you’ve never known before. I’m here to give help and support all the way.

 

THE CAVE MAN DIET

The Cave Man Diet is not simply a weight loss programme. It will make you lose weight, but it is also something much more important – a change of life. This is not something you are doing to please anyone else. This is for you. There are plenty of people around you who don’t want you to succeed. They include some of your friends (‘Go on, have another drink’). They include many of the companies who advertise on TV and in papers and magazines. You will learn that there are pushers on every high street wanting to get you hooked on their products. It won’t be easy, but just being aware is going to help you see through their ploys.

The chances are you are already addicted to one or more of those advertisers’ products. The Cave Man Diet is not just about calorie control, it’s about getting rid of addictions and eating only healthy food. If you truly want to lose weight and keep it off, it means committing to a different lifestyle. There is absolutely no point in dieting to lose weight, then going back to your old habits – that’s what the food and drugs industries rely on to push their products.

Just the same as any addiction - one cigarette, one drink, one fix - one piece of junk food will get you back to being a food junkie. You need to get that stuff out of your life.

Human farming:

There is no pill, food, drug, or conventional ‘diet’ that will reduce your weight and keep it off. They want you to think that they have the answer – the magic bullet that requires no effort from you. It can’t happen, there is no magic bullet – you have to take control. Every one of those plans is designed to get you on the roller-coaster of weight loss followed by weight gain, so they can sell you another diet, slimming club, miracle pill, wonder food or drug. As long as you’re overweight, those companies have a customer they can sell to. As far as they are concerned, you are just a profit centre – something to make money out of - no more than a farmed animal to be fattened up ready for market. The only difference is that with humans they can do it over and over again. A brilliant business model, but not in your interest. Do you want to be a farmed human being?

You’re worth it:

You need to understand that there is no quick fix. As long as you put your faith in any quick fix, you will fail. We constantly fall for the advertising that says this pill, that diet, this surgery is going to solve all our problems without having to lift a finger. They don’t want you to take responsibility for yourself – for the advertising to work, you have a problem that only they can solve. In other words, you have to be a victim.

You need to see through all that and you have to take responsibility for yourself – it can be hard at first, but if you carry on doing what you’re doing, you’ll continue to get the same result. You have to face the fact that nobody and nothing can do this for you – to make it work, you need to change your life and you are the only one who can do it. You are never too old, too ill, too overworked or too unloved to do this. Unless you are completely incapacitated, nobody else puts the food in your mouth except you, nobody can exercise your body except you. You have to make that change and you’re worth it.

Before you can really know you're worth it, you have to change the way you think about yourself. I'll be showing you how to do that and providing the tools for you to do it. This part of the Caveman Diet is the most important of all. If you don't get this bit, the rest is a waste of time. You can follow the diet - you will lose weight, but if you don't make that mind change you will be back to your old weight in a matter of months.

I want you to get to your ideal weight (whatever that may be - you decide) and stay there. I want you healthy. I don’t want you wasting money on all that ‘diet’ food or surgical stuff. The Cave Man Diet is a way of life. It will make you lose weight. It will keep it off. It will make you proud of yourself if you keep it up – and it gives you the tools to do just that. You have to understand that this is a commitment to yourself. This is not for anyone else, it’s just for you. This is the rest of your life and I repeat - you’re worth it.
